Reinventing the crown with paper and buttons

The crown is a holiday classic. Using the pages of an old book, here's a simple way to reinvent it.

Necessary material

Old books
White rigid cardboard;
Chisel;
Knife with retractable blade;
Sticker;
Hot glue;
Various buttons (different colors and sizes);
White copper wire.

Steps

1-In a white cardboard, using scissors, create a circle 12 inches in diameter with a hole in the center of 3 inches in diameter.

2-With a retractable blade knife, cut out the pages of the book. Cut out the pages of the book in 3 sizes: 4 "x 4", 5 "x 5" and 6 "x 6". Cut a corner in each square.

3-Roll the pages to form a cone and secure them with stick glue. Create twenty small cones, thirty medium cones and forty large cones.

4-Arrange half of the cones on the cardboard to push the excess. Add hot glue on the junction of the cone and stick on the cardboard. Stick large cones all over the surface. Overlay the means on the big ones by making them pass towards the center of the cardboard. Do the same thing with the small cones.

5-Install it on the wall using a stick.

6-Group buttons from the same color palette.

7-Glue with hot glue 3 buttons of the same color and size that will serve as a firs foot.

8-Stick on the foot, several buttons from the largest to the smallest.

9-Circulate a thread in the holes of the last button and then, paste this last button. Make a knot.
