Make a flower vase with old bottles

From glass bottles, here's how to make a flower vase that is both chic and rustic.

Material to collect

Pine planks (2 x 18 "x 4" boards) (2 x 8 "x 4" boards);
5 identical glass bottles;
Drill with ¼ "wood drill bit;
8 wood screws;
Measuring gallon;
1 ¼ "Cookie Cutter Bit
Sandpaper with a fine grain;
Water stain;
Brush;
Linen.

Steps

1-For the length of the structure, cut two pine boards according to the amount of bottles you will use. Also cut the boards that will be used next to the vase, one inch shorter than the height of the bottles.

2-For ease of assembly, pre-drill with a ¼ "wood drill, two holes at the ends of the 18" planks. Assemble the 4 pieces of wood using a drill and wood screws.

3-To calculate the location of bottle holes, measure the center of the board (in length and width) with a measuring gallon. Then mark every 3 inches. Pre-drill the holes using a drill bit as a function of the circumference of the neck of the bottles;

4-Sand with a sanding paper with a fine grain (between 150 and 220).

5-Apply the dye to the water in the direction of the length with a brush on all the surfaces. Then wipe with a cloth to see the grain of the wood. Let dry for one hour.

6-Add the bottles to the vase. Fill the bottles with water and add flowers.
